DrilMasterV1.01

Here is a Conversational Drilling Wizard. It does several functions including Manual , Gcode creation AND reverse Engineering.

It supports all the major drilling cycles AND Bolt circle drilling as well.

It supports FILENAME creation and on the fly Code editing as you go.

The Basic Manual is in the on screen button.

Hope you find it usefull, (;-)TP

Hey TP, looks like a winner and thanks for posting.   :)

How about one for the lathe? You remarked that you were looking for some work..... ;) >:D

Maybe take a look at the the Drilling lathe macro in here which also provides for offsetting the X axis and drilling additional holes on the lathe other than just on center. I better explain some...one configures the lathe head as a rotary ( or manualy index the head to an angle of rotation)  and then using a drill mounted on the carriage the different dilling cycles are done. So the wizard could be both conventional along with a  specialty function.

So you want a drillmaster for a LATHE ?  To do center and OFF center drilling with a live axis (X)

You got it right TP. Z axis provides the depth moves and X axis provides for on or offset drilling.

Do you want it all in Machturn ? Or can I use MachMill (;-) Do you want a wizard or added to the turn screenset.

You do know that LES has that working in Scam (;-).

How about a Turn version of Copy Cat ? I call it SpinCopy . I worked on it for doing Spin forming and it is used to COPY the object to be spin formed.

Machturn would be first choice and as a wizard.

Not aware of Scam..... can you provide a link or some info?

SpinCopy sounds interesting. I use CopyCat (not  a lot but it is slick) and there is a manual for the mill version in Member's Docs.
So it only generates the profile and dosen't provide pathing for machining?
