Raster text
« on: March 17, 2012, 09:58:48 AM »
Hey guys,
I'm trying to make some little keychains on my laser cutter. I have my design in a dxf file, with both the outline and text in it.

What I'm trying to figure out, is how I can tell lazycam to raster the text, and cut the outline? Is there a way to do this in lazycam? I had a look at the manual but oculdn't really find anything specific about it.

Cheers,
Dan

Sorry for the double post. I was just looking around in lazycam and found the pocket tool. Would it be possible to select my shapes and turn them into pockets? If I use a super tiny tool diameter, can I have it so it will cover the entire area of the shape?

Cheers,
Dan

Yes, see the manual on how to do.

Yes, when you pocket the defined shape.

Sorry, Lazycam is not a CAD program.
