Help sinking ! Breakout board testing
« on: March 15, 2012, 07:37:51 AM »
Hi all I am in need of some help . I have a CNC4PC Parallel port Interface board C1 .I need to test it . I have the 5 volt supplyes and the enable connected .I have a bunch of lights going . Does a light come on when its enabled ? I cant seam to get anything through the board .Is there any easy test ? The machine has been in storage for a while .It did work . it goes from this board to my Rutex 990 boards . I have this so I can run my digi speed 03 without cutting the parallel port cable .( I am old and those ity bitty wires give me the s--ts ) any ideas would be good thanks otpco

Hi otpco,

It could be that your Mach configuration is incorrectly set up in Ports and Pins (port address : motor output pin numbers : active hi / low etc) also have you been through the Troubleshooting guide in the C1 documentation ??  http://cnc4pc.com/Tech_Docs/C1R10_1_USER_MANUAL.pdf

Tweakie.
PEACE
