Incomplete Gcode load
« on: December 04, 2011, 11:22:37 PM »
Hi
I am new to this area but know software however am at a loss with this.
I make a file in Lazycame to route  'JB' I do everything that is outlined in the videos and manuals, however when I load the Gcade into Mach3 only part of the lettering is loaded.
Has anyoneone elese had this problem and does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

Cheers
JOHN

Hi John,

If you are using the demo (unlicensed) version of Mach there is a 500 line limit on the code. There are some code examples you can use for testing purposes here http://www.machsupport.com/forum/index.php/topic,18345.0.html

I tried them Thanks they worked fine.  But I just tried doing a J and there was only 250 lines and only half the J was there in mach3.
Would it be I am missing something in the chain set up or something like that?
Been at it for ages and at a loss. I fresh mind is needed I think lol

Cheers
JOHN

Hi John,

Perhaps a look through the lazy cam manual http://www.machsupport.com/forum/index.php/topic,12078.0.html may be helpful (I seldom use lazy cam so am no expert here).

You posted the gcode file and not the dxf, but irrelevant, the file loads in Mach ( 1366 lines of code).
I attached a pic of the code backplotted into CAD and loaded in MACH.

Post the dxf file for the "J" that you only got half of in Mach.

Rich

I used LAzy cam to make the J. Used the drag feature. I have added the Lcam file.
