Long pierce delay
« on: June 30, 2011, 10:25:38 AM »
I'm having a problem with a delay in my pierce even when the pierce delay is set to 0.0 in Sheetcam.  I have a THC301d and it gets an arc ok signal immediately after the firing of the torch and there is still @ 2 sec of delay while no G04 Px.x shows in the code.  Anyone have any ideas?

Not sure about how plasma works but could it have anything to do with spindle delay settings on General Config page/

you check this parameter if you set pierce delay to 0 in sheetcam :
Config / Port and pin /spindle setup /General parameters

Cool,
always wondered about that but it hadn't bothered me enough to ask.

Thanks.
