« on: June 10, 2011, 04:46:18 PM »
Can anyone help me on this one.  Running XP Pro, SS, PMDX-126 BOB, steppers.  When installing SS driver during installation I get the message "The file 'ftdibus.sys' on FTDI USB Disk is needed."  I can not find file and driver will not load correctly.  Help please!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You DO have the USB driver installed, correct?

Take a look here and scroll down to the SmoothStepper section and perhaps read thru the installation document, it's great.

Greg at Warp9 helped me solve the problem.  Had to uninstall the driver (He sent me a file location to do so.) and then reinstall.  Deleting the file thru normal windows routines did not work.  All is well now.
