Mach3 doesn't quit properly on windows 7
« on: May 15, 2011, 07:14:32 AM »
Hallo,
I've got some problems when I try to quit mach3 on my windows7 Pc.
The program quits but the the process stays up and I have to kill it from the task manager.
Sorry for my English.
Thanks!

Hmmm, I run Mach on Win7 on a regular basis (and have several customers that do so), and this is the first report of this type I have heard of. This makes me suspect it is a problem related to configuration of your PC. Do you have any virus scanners, etc running? Are you using any 3rd party plug-ins with Mach?

Hi Jeff,
Thanks a lot for your answer.
I think the problem is my screen set.
I did it with machscreen and durind making machscreen told me the screenset was corrupted, but load it correctly.
So from that moment mach3 using the new screenset has very strange behaviour, in fact it doesn't run correctly the button script ??? and any modify is not sure saved.
In my opinion is possible mach3 saves any change at the quit, but I can't quit correctly.
I tried to install MachStdMill and it seems to quit right, but after if I try to load my screenset mach3 is unable to turn on the spindle and give me an error, so I must reinstall mah3 again.
My situation is complicated i think, :'(
Thanks a lot again, regards

Bruno
