Hi, Piet

As far as I now, LazyCam and Mach3, work in UNITS,  MM or Inch.

Check your Mach3 is not in Inch. Mode.

In Mach3, goto Config, Select Native Unit's, OK, Set Default Units to MM, then OK.

If it was in Inch mode you will need to adjust your Step's Per settings in Motor Tuning if there setup

Hope this Fixes your Problem.

Thanks, Chip

[img]thanks for your reply in Mach3 everything is oke and set in mm.
the problem is wen i import a file that a made in corel draw ore autocad in mm ,in lazycam after importing the x-y stock size is in inch
so when i draw a squire of 1oo mm after importing in lazycam the x-y values are then 3.9350
so 3.9350x25.4=100 mm   note 1 inch =25.4mm
i hope you can help me?

Hi, Piet

Have you issued a G21 on the MID input line, or put a G21 the top of your G-code file.

Maybe your in G20 Inch mode.

Would you post the DXF files, I'd like to look at them.

Thanks, Chip

Hello Piet,

I loaded your DXF in a CAD programm and it turn's out it's already in Inches.
The problem lies in your CAD programm and not in Lazycam our Mach3.

Kind regards from the Netherlands to

Piet

hello chip

i am happy :) that you found the problem i made the drawings in coreldraw 8 and i learned now that the program export a dxf ore plt file always in inch measurements.
i did some research work and i now know that coreldraw 12 has a function to export in mm ore inches also the line thickness is ignored so a need that version
now i know that Mach/lazycam  also woks in mm i will order a copy off the Mach this week i will thank you for your help and our patients

greetings piet
