Are you saying that you are running Mach on a PC with Vista OS and all is well?
;D If you could see the things I have in my head, you would be laughing too. ;D

My guard dog is not what you need to worry about!

yep build 6000 which is vista final release available early on MSDN

only problem i had was a dll which would'nt register due to microsofts funky new file protection system but once that was taken care of all runs fine

however having used vista from beta onwards i will tell you stick with xp Vistas just anew toy its not really geared towards us cnc typesand tobe honest im growing tired of fighting with it whenever i want to install a program

btw anyone know if theres a post for edgecam

Hi:

I think you may be fooling yourself. The driver doesnt load properlyunder all Vista builds Ive seen. If you check the Diags page you will see it says either simulate, or 25000 exaclty , which means its in sim mode. (Now if you can run the drivertest.exe successfully, Id LOVE to hear that! :)

Darn, you had my hopes up. :), thankis for trying though, tghe experiment is always worthwhile.
When Vista is fully released, Ill likely try taking a run at it, but XP was a miracle, so I wouldnt count on it..

Thanks
