« on: January 17, 2011, 05:41:23 AM »
Hi

am having problems getting the installation with my cnc machine right

this may help someone to tell me what i am doing wrong

Spindle works fine
the  X Y Z stepper motors all work

except when i try and manually move using the jog interface the

X- and the X+   all work in the same direction ( to the right )
Z- and the Z+ all work in same direction ( down the table)
Y- and the Y+ dont work at all
I guess i am doing sometime wrong and very basically wrong

can anyone steer me in the right direction

take care

Could you have the dip switches on the drive set for CW/CWW instead of Step/Dir?

Domenic,
Go to CONFIG>SYSTEM HOT KEYS SET UP and see what key / scan code is assigned to each axis.
In the lower box click the Scan Code button and then press a key board key and it will show you the scan code for that key.
