Servo controllers with analog input
« on: November 27, 2010, 10:11:01 AM »
I have a Cincinnati Arrow 500 and the control computer is not working any more. The servo controllers in the machine have an input for an analog control of +10v  to -10 volts. What methods are available for Mach3 to to control a system like this.

Thanks,
Paul

DSPMC/IP is a great option especially if you need lots of I/O. I have 2.

Kflop w/Kanalog.

Galil. I have the ISA board and a USB 2030. Neither is running as of yet

Mesa(under devlopment) I am doing some testing for Smurph.

YAPS10v is a step and direction to analog converter.

It all depends on what you need and what you want to spend.

We never have the time or money to do it right the first time, but we somehow manage to do it twice and then spend the money to get it right.
