Don't know if I've missed it somewhere but what's the state of play re: windows 7 and Mach?

There are some threads in the  Mach and Windows Vista forum. Appears to run fine in 7.

If you want to use the parallel port driver stick with the 32bit version of Win7. The parallel port driver will not run on a 64bit OS. If you want to use a SmoothStepper or other external motion control board than the 64bit version is fine. (I know the SS works fine on Win7-64.)

Thanks Alan

Thanks Jeff - It'll have to be the PP driver because this is a plasma setup with THC so as I understand it the SS is a non-runner - is that correct?

Right. The SS does not do THC at this time.
