Jog problem
« on: September 22, 2010, 04:04:33 AM »
I can't move the mill using the graphic green and red icons on the jog screen. I have the og button turned on, and I can jog with the keyboard, but not with the jog screen. How do I enable that?
Thank you

Dont think there is a way to disable except by having the MPG selected but as you can jog via the keyboard that cant be the case,  so not sure why its not working for you. Is it the standard screenset you are using or do you have a custom one?

Thank you for the reply. It is the standard screenset.

Can you attach both the screenset and your xml and I will see if I can figure out the problem.

Ok go to C:\Mach3 folder and look for the xml for the profile you use, if for instance you are using the default Mill profile then the file you want is Mach3Mill.xml
Right click on it and copy then paste it to your desktop and then rename it to CaptainMidnight.xml You can then use the additional options the reply page to browse to the renamed file and attach it to the forum.

Same for the screenset you are using, if the standard one its called 1024.set and again is located in the Mach3 folder. Copy paste and rename like above but this time call it CaptainMidnight.set and then attach in the same way as the xml.

I still haven't figured out the xml thing yet, but I think I know what's going on. I'm using an Ajax controller, and I think I have to use an Ajax plugin to run it.
