Thanks for the pictures Tony. If this works as good as it looks (and I am certain it will) you are going to have a machine to be really proud of. It looks so professional  :D

Hi Guys,

Your workmanship is truly remarkable.
One thing which you haven't mentioned here, which I think is absolutely amazing, is that you cut down one side of all the (black painted) 2 1/2" angle, ground the top surface flat and then ground the 'V' rails all with a hand held Bosh angle grinder. OK, I know you used a homemade jig but it is still a monumental task to complete.
You Guys have my total admiration.

Can't wait to see your pictures of the Roadrunner.  ;D

Tweakie,

Your attention to detail is awesome  ;) the rail grinding would be one of those tasks most would put off and off. Once you get into it and set yourself up too do it and with the right mind set it really is not that bad. Time taken to get it right is time well spent.  ;D
Roadrunner here we come  ;)

Cheers
Tony.

Very impressive guys.. 8) 8)
Can you tell us when to official start date was, say, when you received the materials?
Just so I can feel worse at my poor progress on my little table top CNC. :-[ :'(
