Port 1 Pins not lighting
« on: July 26, 2010, 04:22:00 PM »
Please help if you can.

Had to replace computer from a crash and ever since my port 1 pins ( on the diagnostics screen) aren't lighting although my CNC machine works great.
Any thoughts

Al

Hi,

Just spent the best part of a day going through your Website and was obviously quite impressed.
Where do you get the energy? Keep up the good work!

Thanks Al.

I use the periods when the machine is running unattended to update the website and browse the forum.

Still hasn't got us any nearer to getting the led's to work. Mine used to work, long while ago, but haven't worked for 2 or 3 updates now. It is probably in the .xml somewhere but somebody must know the answer to this one.

In the meantime - I use Parmon which can be downloaded from here http://www.geekhideout.com/parmon.shtml

HI,

Well guess what. They now work and I don't know specifically why . . . Don't you hate that.

Anyway, I didn't have my limit switches reconnected from my last crash so thought I'd see if I could get their lights triggered when hit with no luck.
Then I tried the automated set up for limit switches and that didn't work either.

However, it was at this point that my Port 1 pins started working again. Hmmmm???

Anyway, success is success. I'll take it any way I can.

Thanks for feedback and the parmon download. Keep on Cuttin'
Al
