speed mismatch
« on: January 23, 2010, 09:16:18 PM »
On this new mach3 setup seems axis actual speed is only 75% of programmed speed. I must have parameter not properly set. For example, programmed f4 actually moves only at 3 inches/minute. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,
Jim

You may have the FRO % set to 75%, make sure its at 100%

Regarding the FRO, I wish it was that simple.

I've been running mach since its inseption, back when mach 1 was king, so I pretty much know my way around around the major settings. The Mach 3 program I updated I've been running since maybe 2007.

So what are you saying? If you dont want to attach your xml that is fine by me but if you are asking for help then I suggest it might be the quickest way to get this resolved.

Sorry, the timing of that last post was such that I was creating it during your request. I have to go to the shop for the xml file and its Sunday so it's gonna take me a while. Hey, thanks for the help. While I'm in the shop I'm gonna play with it a little more too.
