Loading G code problem
« on: January 11, 2010, 09:21:43 AM »
I have just started using Mach 3, my cnc person installed the program with my cnc, I started playing with it loading some of my old G code programs from Type 3, my y axis was off so I went in and did the motor tuning, told it to move 12" and it went 24, so I told the computer this and it automaticly correct.
So now I loaded an old g code cut a couple of 4" tall letter R's GREAT.

Went to creat a new g code, went to down load the g code, it would not load. now I am for no reason having major troubles some alot of my g-codes are not loading at all, and my motor tuning is being thrown way out of wac, I tell it to move 12" and it goes a 1/2 an inch.

Has anyone else ever have this problem? and if so do you know what is up?

If they don't load, is there an error message?

Does the G-code use G20 and or G21, and are you're native units set correctly?

There is no error message, and I believe the native units are set up correctly.

Even g-codes that worked previously now are not importing at all.  No Codes listed at all,

Reply as you been, then click the "Additional Options" and Browse to the file you wish to upload. Give it a unique name like
filename_jcsigns1.txt or something same with the xml file.

Ok,

Here is the G code along with the xml file,

prior to this I was using a chinese version of Type 3 that came with my router and then cutting from NC Studio.  and things were working.

Now I have went and purchased Router Type and cutting from Mach 3, the only thing is I am having trouble getting things to Jive.
