Probing plugin not wizard?
« on: November 11, 2009, 05:07:28 PM »
Where is it? I updated Mach to the latest rev .032 and expected to see the plugin on the top of the mach screen but it isnt there. The probing wizard by Art is there. Is the plug in still available? It had features like center finding. I am not sure if it all worked as I do remember a dialog box that would never close "prev seq not complete etc. Anyone famiiar with it?
I want to die in my sleep like my grandfather, not like the passengers in the car! :-)

I used this plug in in Mach version .022 and it was great. I would find center of circle create 3d point clouds.
It did not generate gcode on the screen at any time just went to center after touching 4 side of a circle and told you you were centered.
It generated a point cloud that could be imported into Autocad or whatever that could then be made into gcode.
Since I upgraded to the latest version of Mach .066 I get the same thing!"previous sequence not completed".
Don't know what happened but maybe someone at Artsoft can chime in and help us out.
I have this ultimate set of tools I can fix it.
