Spindle want run

I downloaded latest upgrade to Smooth Stepper and Mach 3. Now spindle will not run. Tried going back to earlier, but still will not run. Spindle will run from VFD so it is ok. Any suggestions. and I will tell you now I am far from being an expert at this

Check in the plugin that you have the correct setting for the type of spindle control, it has probably reset to none.

How is your spindle connected, what pins do you need and check they are all still set correctly, also make sure if you use Step/Dir that it is enabled and that any outputs for the spindle have the correct pins set and that the spindle relays if used are not disabled on Spindle Control page  of Ports and Pins.

Hood. I have a Smooth Stepper pined to a Campbell card. I looked at Outputs and it showed PWM first and I changed it to step/dir but still want run.

You could try going back to a previous xml.
