gCode I & J
« on: August 22, 2009, 11:50:47 PM »
I made this simple drawing and got the gcode with Lazycam

Is it easy for someone to explain what the I and J means on the code?

I only know what X Y & Z means

Can you please explain what you found? Very often other folks will search old messages when they have a similar question and your findings may be a valuable resource for them.

The Mach3 Turn - Arc Motion write up in Members Docs provides definiton and has examples of arcs in different positions. For the lathe but still basic good info that you can adjust for the mill.
