The cherge pump could be the problem... This is used by many to enable boards... I don't have a THC so I can't help to much

The 2nd charge pump must be set to port2 pin 17. This will prevent turning on the torch until
Mach is reset.

Hi Jim,
I was wondering what is Charge pump2 for. Now I found this topic.
Does it means THC300 Logic board has circuit to prevent Torch output to be activated, or what?
I just have buy my Mach3 licence, and I want to build my own THC device.

Yes. The charge pump out from Mach is a tone about 13khz or so. We use this output to know when Mach is ready to cut.
It enables the Torch trigger relay out only when Mach has been reset and ready to run . It is on charge pump2 port 2 pin 17
You can download the manual from

Thanks Jim,
I understand now this function and can implement it to my hardware.
I posted more questions in General Mach Discussion, under the name "THC300 Port pins usage", please Jim replay to.
