What is STAR grounding?

The machine stops in the middle of a program and Windose says
"program not responding"
It is suggested that I Star ground my machine.

All of your shield wires should ground at a single point,I suppose its called that as  it looks like a star with all the wires coming in to a central point.

This should also include any grounded power supply commons and also the service ground.
Also all metal sections of the machine and spindle frame should be bonded to the same point.
Usually your PC Power Supply  is grounded through the M.B. screws, it pays to take the PC  P.S.  direct also.
