The depth needs to be set to a negitive number :) I needed to add Positive cut heights for an OEM :(

Looking at the other stuff now :)

Chip I am going to change the post so you can cut points. You will not be able to use the can cycle because I don't think you can have M3's and M5's in a can cycle :(

I should have this fixed in a few

Other then the power going out for a bit this was fun ot fix :) The new Post processor is making it SO much faster to make changes with out beaking other things in the program.. I changed the default post in Lcam but I know you are not running a plasma so you can change the post to make your water jet run  :o If you have trouble I will give you a hand

Hi, Brian

There few items that still exist ill post them separately Ver.2.61.

If I load a DXF file and enter a Final Depth or a Rapid Hight without changing the Per Pass value upon clicking OK, LasyCam will lockup.

If I load a dxf file and set the Per Pass value to .5, then I can set Final Depth and Start Depth without lockup.

At this point I can change the Per Pass back to Default Value of 1 and  have no lockup problem.

This is without closing LC and restarting, once shutdown and restarted it will freeze again with out changing the value in Per Pass if Final Depth or Rapid Hight are used.

If I change Per Pass to .5 close the window then change it back to 1 default value again then the problem is gone till restart of LC again.

If there are multipal layers then Per Pas value has to be changed in all layers

Windows  End Task will shut LC down after freeze .

Thank's Chip

Could you see if you can edit the plasma post to get it to work the way you would like? This will help me with the post :)

Hi, Brian

Just read your last post that's what I am dooing now,------ Please read this post though.

The G81 caned cycle was something LC 2.60 chose not me, I figured you were going to pull a rabbit out of your hat.

The -1 worked one time for me, If I change the default Value in Per Pass from 1 to .5 then OK, then set Per Pass back to 1 then I can enter - or + in  Final Depth and or Rapid Hight without LasyCam locking UP.

This is needed in all layers to keep it from locking up if Final Depth and or Rapid Hight are changed layer by layer.

Could it be when LC loads that the Default 1 value is-sent being properly loaded in some sort of Variable location ?.

Could you make the Gcode post also show Default Post / Plasma or User post"Plasma***.PST is being used at top of file.

Thank's for the plasma example.PST it's a little clearer where your going with this, Just allot of soreting this out for me and allot of cleaning up the code to remove previous structure to streamline for you.

On other item, LC saves my changes in the LC.XML But Never reloads any of them on startup, write now I am only using one file for testing.

Everything is in Mach3 in propper Sub. Dir's.

Thank's Chip
