newbie confused
« on: February 23, 2009, 03:16:40 PM »
Hi
This is my first post, I have been evaluating Mach3 for several months now and have completed my 3 axis table. I thought that I had things worked out but some rather strange things are happining.

I am at this point trying to cut .050 deep and using a small g code of less than 250 lines to make sure that everything is OK.

Problem is that when cutting I get nothing but garbage.... seems that mach has a mind of its own wandering around the Axis, when running code in off line mode (air cutting or simulation) everything seems OK.

Does Mach3  not let you run code with the evaluation software??

Sorry for the dumb Question

Richard

Simulation and real time cutting should be the same.

Post a picture of the screen shot and also your code that way we can work out what your problem is.

It could be just a setting in your config like Inc arcs.

seems that mach has a mind of its own wandering around the Axis, when running code instead of cutting the profile of the spade it cuts in diffrent directions actual photo of cut attached.

Are the distances accurate when you command moves from the MDI?
If you command a G0 move from the MDI does it go to the correct position?
