Need limit switch help
« on: July 17, 2006, 07:20:27 PM »
Have my X axis up and running but have no way to keep it from crashing into the frame if I make a mistake on my Gcode. Running 640 motors and Geckos with Mach3. 1. Do I need to order NO or NC? 2. Where to get them? 3. What wire to interrupt? 4. Do I need to change my Mach settings? Any help will be appreciated.

You should get a NC switch and you can get them  from AutomationDirect.com . They have very nice limit switches.

Hope that helps

Brian,
Is that switch tripped from either side ?
As in mount it in the center and a stop on either side of the table will close it?
Thanks in advance.
