Im having trouble with the cnc4pc index card. I installed the card on my cnc converted atlas lathe trying to get rpm readout and for threading but cant get a readout and the index light in diagnostics is always on. Im not sure what im doing wrong as this is my first go at spindle index.

Check to see you have a low value, probably 0 ,for Index Debounce in General Config.

I must have screwed something up cause the index light will come on and off randomly without me doing anything. I probably wired it wrong though I fallowed the wiring diagram and it looks right

Well im getting a readout in turn but its varying wildly. It will be reading what looks like a close to actual rpm and then change going from a couple hundred to a few thousand and up.

If you attach your xml I will have a look at your config to see if there is an issue with it.

You will have to copy it and rename it so that the forum will accept it, suggest you call it joeendo.xml . You can then use the additional options on the reply page to attach.

Think that is the Mach3 exe you attached instead of the xml.
