Prompting to initialize dspMC
« on: December 22, 2008, 10:41:12 AM »
I've got my servo's tuned and my dspMC connected to my PC, however, when i launch Mach3 i am not prompted to assign a Plug In.

Anyone know how to configure mach3 manually to communicate with the dspMC? I've tried to "reset device sel" under the config pulldown but all it asks me is to agree to terms of useage upon reload.

I can arm the PID and jog the servo's via the dspMC so im definately connected.

And FYI, im controlling a 5X10 plasma table with a X-Y axis control and manual THC controlled by a pneumatic cylinder. My intention is to assign a coolant flood function to a solenoid to control the THC and assign an IO, but if anyone had a better suggestion, id be grateful.

Have you installed the plugin? If you have then when in Mach go to the Config menu then down to Config Plugins and check the one for your hardware. Then you need to restart Mach and choose it from the device select list.
