« on: November 19, 2008, 05:37:11 AM »
```Hi All
I am fairly new to cnc but have been in clock repair for some years does anyone know the best way to go about using my cnc mill to cross out gear blanks I have successfully used it to cut the gear teeth but not sure how use it to do the crossing out. do I draw the gear in cad then import it to Lazy cam and go from there or is there another way?
Hi Biffo,
If you can export a DXF file from your cad then you can import that into lazycam and produce the tool paths.
If you need advice on Lazycam post in the lazycam section and there are some knowledgeable guys in there.
