No, not what you think. LazyCAM will create g-code from the image, but the g-code will be for a 3D carving of the image, not a trace of it.

OK, then how about this: if a CAD image contains Bezier curves, can LazyCam handle it, or does it work with arcs only?

I don't think so. But at some point, the bezier curves (or splines) need to be converted to arcs or line segments, because there are no g-codes for bezier curves.
