Changing Y axis to A axis
« on: September 28, 2008, 12:43:19 AM »
Hi,
Anyone know how to tell Mach 3 to change the Y-axis to the A-axis without going through the whole code and doing it. What I want to do is take a flat pattern g-code and use it to cut the pattern in a tube. I know I can import the g-code into MS-Word and tell it to change all the (Y)s to (A)s. but there 's got to be a better way. Is there?

Thanks in advance
Jack

you could go into ports and pins and assign pins from Y into A in a different profile.

Graham,
That is definitely another way to do it. I thank you Sir.
