No jog control in turn cycle screen
« on: September 13, 2008, 10:07:13 AM »
Hi
I have no jog control while in the Cycle (run G code) mode in turn. Is there a way to turn this on? It's a pain having to change screens jut to jog.

That is a safety issue of the standard screen set.

There are other screens, in the screens download page, where you can jog.
But I realy do not know what option can trigger that.

Hi
Thanks for the reply.
I think I got it figured out by copying the jog button on to the cycle screen. I understand the safety thing but for me the extra step of switching screens to jog the machine is a pain. The turn screens are very different from the mill screens  pertaining to work flow. I can jog all I want to in the program screen.

I took really bad with the turn screen as I was used to my mill screen, I just adapted my Mill Screen into a lathe screen and had the controls I wanted on it.

E-Stop in Turn is the "Esc" key.
