another circle question
«

Using Illustrator CS3 to create a circle, export to dxf, then into lcam v.2.02. My problem is the circle for some reason shows as being oblong in lcam as well as Mach. Anyone have an idea or a trick with Illustrator that can correct this problem. Thanks, Jason

Optimized with illustrator before I exported to dxf...grouped, flatten transparency, converted to grayscale etc.
Any ideas?

Before I completely throw in the towel, does adobe give you choices of DXF file types to save?
LazyCam likes autocad 11/12 type files. If there is something in your "save as" file type box that looks like that, that may be the problem right there-

Yeah, it allows you to export to R13 or 2000 but still has the same results. Tried Corel 11 and that seems to work like it is supposed too. The Illustator interface I think is better but this export issue is a deal killer.

I can export from illustrator cs3 to a DXF then import into Corel Draw 11 and then export out again as a DXf and that works okay in lcam. Just a huge pain to have to do that everytime. Any other Illustrator users out there got any ideas?
