Please help   I have lost my signal from the PC to the beakout board.

As soon as I double click on the Mach3 icon the signal is gone.
I just bought the license in hopes that this would take care of it and it has not.

What may have happened?

Not really sure what you are meaning by "As soon as I double click on the Mach3 icon the signal is gone."
 Please go to your Mach3 folder and copy the Mach3Mill.xml to the desktop and rename it pherf3.xml then attach it to the forum.

Thanks for the reply.  I click on the Mach3 mill icon on my desktop to start the program.
Here is the xml file.
Let me know if you see anything that keeps shutting of the signal once the program starts.

You have Output 1 enabled, set to Port 1 but you dont have a pin asigned for it. If this is an enable signal to your drives you will need to asign the coorrect pin.

Something weird is going on.   After copying the xml to send to you I resarted the cnc pc and now the breakout board is staying lit after I start the program.  But I cannot reset my gecko drives.  Just yesterday all was working fine.

Any clues will help.

What kind of Geckos? What breakout(if any)? What motors?

Have you checked to see if OutPut 1 should be asigned to a pin?

Should I get Mach3 support for this.  I am a woodworker remember.  What on the menu in Mach3 do I do this.  Instructions are much needed and as simply put as can be.

Should be able to get you running but if you want to go for support its up to you.
If you let me know what hardware you have (as asked above) it will help, also did you build this machine yourself? If so then you must have a reasonable grasp of things if you had it running previously.

Here is some info on my hardware.

I am using the 320 Geckos and its a C10 breakout by cnc4pc.  I have gone=
 into the mach3 menu and nothing has a green check under port & pins, mo=
tor output, input etc.  I think it is not picking up the xml file maybe.=

OK so I wonder if you have sent the wrong xml, if you right clcik on the Icon you use to start Mach what does it say for the profile, it will be similar to C:\Mach3\Mach3.exe /p HoodTurn   its the bit after the /p that you need to know. Find that in the Mach3 folder and rename and attach like before but you will have to call it a new name for the forum to accept.
