4th Axis add on/build
« on: August 02, 2008, 02:26:17 PM »
Hey,
I have a K2 cnc router, and I would like to add a 4th axis, a full forth axis not a indexing 4th. I want the challenge of making it my self but I need your help. Any ideas where to start? I am running Mach3 with no problems. My wish list would be to have it spin like a lathe spindle and also to be able to run it slow like a mills 4th axis.

Thanks in advance, and it's good to be back!

Do a search for 4th axis, there was a good discussion on it a few months ago. Dont have time to search myself but post here to say whether you found it or not and if you cant find it I will search later.

Is this is?  Everything I learned about setting up a 4th axis, problem solved, ** final cut

I will have to read it later time to enjoy the long weekend with the kiddies, it's time for a campfire.
Thanks for the reply hood!!!
