Licence problem when upgrading
« on: July 23, 2008, 10:17:54 AM »
Hi guys,

i have a problem with my version of r2.63.
I use the same licence of an older version of mach3 and it seems it has some problem while moving in working coordinates.
The machine is doing the g0 perfectly but doing the g1 or g2 it moves wrong even if the computer says it move correctly.
Now the question is: there are different licences for different versions of mach3 or the same licence work for all the versions.

Thanks for anyone that answers.

bye

Hi,
thank for your answer.
The problem is that the movements that the machine does is not the one that the computer displays and say to do.

FMUR and Samur,
Please give an example.

1. What did you command it to do ?
2. What did you expect it to do ?
3. What did it actually do ?

Thanks Overloaded, the point is ,the calibration  servo, encoder, screw was setting in mm, that was checked with comparator and command jog and was ok. I thought everything ok for production but running a piece observe that both the x and z gain 0,06 per mm.

FMUR, Saumur, sonds more to me you have either overwritten your XML while updateing or you're not opening the right profile.
