I thought it was just a download, but have found on my desktop that when I check the help version, It shows up as  demo version.  Would appreciate some guidence on how to correct the problem.

Your Mach1lic.data-file needs to be in C:\Mach3 folder.

I didn't remember seeing one with the download. Does it come as an attachment to the reciept email?

Yes when you purchase a licence you should receive an email shortly afterwards, usually within a day and mostly a lot quicker than that. The email will have a file attached, it will be called Mach1Lic.dat, place that in the folder that Mach3 installed to, like Chip said, and restart Mach if you have it running. You should now have the full version.
