RhinoCAM for Mach3 and one error
« on: May 13, 2008, 05:14:31 AM »
I can see a post processor for Mach 1 and 2 but not for Mach 3 - is there or does there need to be a separate file for this?

I have been experimenting which RhinoCAM and using Mach 2 post - seems to work OK with one error on every file:

It's a line in the file "N60 G43 0" which causes an error in Mach3. "Bug unknown motion codeline 5"

I'm a noob at all of this - Is it something I'm doing or a problem with the Mach 2 post file?

I think G43 relates to the offset system??? Do I need to define something there???

Thanks,

Paul.

I found the problem was resolved by removing the "0" from the end. I know understand this command to be the initial tool change command.

Is the problem in the number of the tool or something else.

I can change the post file if I know what needs to be written...
