Mach3Turn
« on: April 03, 2008, 05:35:19 PM »
Greetings folks, sorry been away from all this for a while to deal with family stuff.

Anyway, any pointers to resources on Machturn.   Much of it seems to be undocumented?  or at least I struggle to find the information.

Until now my mach usage has been the VMC, but the other projects are coming along again, and soon will be time for testing.

So any pointers to information regarding turning cycles supported in Mach Turn would be approciated.   The online manual shows quite a few blank pages for me.

Hello Wayne,
I found the "Using Mach3Turn" .pdf to be jam packed with most everything associated with turn.
Most of it, I had to read twice.....or 3 times to get a grip, but that's just the way my brain works. Or doesn't work...yeah, that's better.

Sorry Wayne, not really sure whats there and whats not, Brian has told me he will be doing some work on Turn but when I dont know, he's kind of busy I think.
Maybe we should abduct him when he comes to the UK later in the year and not let him go until he does it :D

Well I updated my Adobe Acrobat reader and the blank pages are no longer blank!

So at least for the time being I have something to read and compare with my other controls.

Thanks

Ah sorry Wayne, when you said blanks I thought you were meaning the canned cycles where it says no info yet or words to that effect.

Hey Wayne, since you use onecnc, the post processor I wrote for the lathe, has all the "Current" stuff that lathe supports that I am aware of.
The stuff that was 1/2 way, or incomplete but pending is in there also, but with notes about its current status.
