Turn cant find Set file
« on: March 26, 2008, 11:01:34 PM »
All of a sudden (of course I didnt have anything to do with it) Mach3turn cant find a set file. Even after removing all Mach programs and reinstalling 2.63 Mill does ok but turn, as confirmed by ports and pins, either loads the mill set file or none at all.  Any ideas? Thanks, Ben

Hello Ben,
On occasion, when I open Mach the screen doesn't come up but the icon comes up in the taskbar. Then just click on it.
Otherwise, see if they are in your mach3 folder and open one from there. Turn is .lset. Then maybe it will "stick".
Click "View" on the top bar and they should all be in a pop-up window. (you probably know that already)

RC

How do you confirm in ports and pins ?

Thanks that did it. I forgot it was .lset, I was looking for .set. In ports and pins the motor output only has X and Z enabled on my machine. You knew that.  I notice when I learn something new somthing old pops out. I wonder what poped out this time?
