Wierd Font Issue
« on: March 03, 2008, 09:48:08 AM »
Running Mach3 2.63 and all is well except the font on the DRO for the y-axis is different than the x and z axis.  I don't see how this can be.  I've tried to change it but always comes up different.  See the attached screen shot.

 ???

Hey Richard,
When you change the font under Function Cnfg., make Y like X and Z, then Colse Mach and restart.
It sould be changed then.
Regards,
RC

(I see now that they cannot be changed individually)

Try changing the dro's to another font, restart Mach, then change back to Arial and restart.
That might clear it up.

Tried your suggestion but it did not fix the issue.  I think I will try another video card and see if that does the trick.

Ok, I put in a new video card but it did not fix the issue with the y axis font.  One thing to note is that I created a profile under mach3loader.  If I run mach3mill the fonts are all normal as they should be.  Go figure ??

Hi, Richard

I think it's a slight difference in the Y dro size, Screen4 screen editor is probably the only to fix it.

Try this screen.set below.

I don't understand why having a new Profile would make a difference though

Hope this Helps, Chip

Chip, thanks for the reply.  I loaded the test screen but no change.  The y axis font still is bold compared to the others.  This is more of an anoyance than anthing since mach works fine.  Just doesn't make sense.

Can you post your xml that you have issues with the screen, maybe there is a setting in it that is the problem.

Hi, Richard

To: Post your XML

If you have a Standard Install of Mach you'll find the xml's in C:\Mach3 folder.

Find the Mach3Mill.xml, Make a copy of it and Re-Name the copy to a unique name,  yournameMach3Mill.xml should work.

Use the "REPLY" Button then Attachment Options, "Browse" to C:\Mach3 and find the file, Double click on it and Post.

Hope this Helps, Chip

Is that the xml you are having problems with? reason I ask is because the screen is fine here.
