re tab out jog control

is there a way to change the direction of the arrows in the jog control. so the arrows acutally go the direction that they should so if i push left it goes left or right .any help would be greatly appreciated this just drives me nutts the way it works.

The arrows are correct if you are standing in front of the table and origin is lower left. This is conventional.

If the axis is moving in the wrong direction that can be changed in,

Config / Homing and Limits / check "Reversed"

It makes it easier to use the arrows if you concentrate on spindle movement, rather than table movement... as though the table were stationary. It took me awhile to figure that out, but I now move the table in the correct direction without thinking.

Paul is right. I agree, it is confusing a little but there is a reason. As Greg said, it is conventional. I could have re-mapped the keys, but thought it best to bite the bullet and get my head around the +/- thing. If not, would be more confusing to look at G-code files and and be able to comprehend what was going on.
