Hi everyone,I have just upgraded Mach to 2.63 from a previous version. (No. V???)
For the past 6 months+ I have been setting the various tool lenght offsets via the offsets page. This loads the lenght differences into the tool table.
In the G code I put N0021 T1 M06 G43 L1 (10MM SLOT) to set the lenght offset for Tool 1 and the same for subsequent tools, i.e T2 M06 G43 L2
All this worked fine.
Now with V2.63, it appears that any tool longer than the ref tool zero has the offset added instead of subtracted.
So if the tool is longer by 10mm than T0, instead of subtracting 10mm of the lenght of that tool so it sits at Z0, the tool is effectivley being burried at Z-20
or at least that's what appears to happen.
The code is the same as I was running but now crashes the tool that is longer than T0
In the manual it refers to G44 for negative offsets, but I have not had to use this in the past, has the way Mach handles tools longer than the ref tool changed.
I'm a bit confused.
Any help would be most appreciated.
