homing slave axis??
« on: January 07, 2008, 06:51:40 PM »
Hello all,

I am in the process of homing my  machine for the first time!!  I have a 2 motor x-axis using the slave feature.   when I jog this axis   both motors seem to operate as expected. But when I try and home this axis, the salve motor will not respond??

Is there a setting in the homing/limits field that needs to be addressed ???

thanks for any input in advance  :)

I think you will have to have a port and pin number and the home switch enabled. If you are only using one limit for the axis, make the pins the same as the other motors home switch for that axis.

thanks for the info !!

I found the fix for my problem.   For those interested under "general Config."  > "home slave with master axis "  must be enabled  ;)
