Critial Mach4 Lathe Facing Cycle bug
« on: October 23, 2026, 12:42:30 PM »
Mach4 version 4.2.0.5036

The problem is simple.

1- Open a new Facing Cycle.
2- Enter Xi:10, Zi:0, Xf:0, Zf:-1
3- Tap View Toolpath.
4- Run the code.
5- Machine crashes.

The problem is Mach4 adds an extra 10mm to the Z+ position value. And the carriage or the tool hits the tailstock and/or the live center.

N0095 G00 X0.1000 Z10.2000 (Positioning for Start of Cycle)

NOTE: The one or two earlier version of Mach4 hadn't this bug.
