Hi all — I wanted to share a wireless jog controller I've built that works with Mach3 and Mach4.
It's an iPhone app paired with a small USB receiver. Plug the receiver into your CNC computer and leave it there. Whenever you need to jog, take out your phone — the app auto-reconnects and jogging buttons are immediately available.
The receiver shows up as a standard USB keyboard — no software or drivers to install. It sends arrow keys for X/Y and Page Up/Page Down for Z, which Mach3 and Mach4 recognize natively. Just make sure jog mode is enabled (Ctrl+Alt+J) before jogging.
Also works with Carbide Motion, UGS, Easel, OpenBuilds CONTROL, and has a Custom Layout mode for any software that accepts keyboard shortcuts.
