I'm refurbing a Multicam44 plus. It uses Baluff Hall effect sensors as Limit/homing switches.
My problem is that it will not home the X and Y axes. It just crashes through the sensor and keeps going, it won't stop and retract.
On the Z axis, it will stop and retract. I am very sure that it isn't a hardware issue. The sensors are working correctly, and they light up on the Diagnostics screen (M1Home, M2Home, M3Home) when triggered. I've also tested the voltage high/low on the break out board, all is present and correct. I don't think its an Active High/Active Low issue, as when the CNC is within it's normal range the Home lights on the diagnostic screen are not lit up.
So to my mind it must be a settings issue. Could anyone point me to a setting which might be at fault? It seems odd to me that the Z axis will home but not the X and Y Axis.
I'll put this out there as well in case it's related - when I jog the X axis to the left or right it moves the opposite way, and when I run a program it tries to cut the mirror image of where it should, if that makes sense. I've tried every single combination of Home Neg/Reversed in Config>Homing Limits to try and fix it to no avail. The machine needs to home to the bottom right hand corner but I can't seem to stop it from homing to the bottom left.
Any advice gratefully recieved, thanks
