Hardware button to select jogging axis
« on: February 09, 2025, 08:08:10 PM »
Hi,

I'm currently finalizing the migration of my CNC computer (pentium 4) to a more modern computer. I'm mostly done instead a few things which are not working properly yet. On my machine I have 4 hardware buttons which can be used to select to axis you would like to jog. Those buttons were working properly on my previous computer. They are not working on the new computer but when I go to the Mach3 diagnostic window I see the signal coming from each  hardware button. I have the feeling the missing thing is the connection between the signal coming from parallel port and the Mach3 function. Is someone can explain how to configure this function for axis jogging.

Thank you

You may have had them connected to OEMTriggers if so you need to set them in the hotkey window or you could have done it another way.

Thank you for your help. Any idea what is the hotkey to select jogging axis. I'm looking to be able to select the right axis when I use the MPG control.
