« on: January 06, 2025, 10:53:58 AM »
Hello, i'm new in mach 3.
I'm trying to use the Addon file "Surfacing with tool down in Y" because is exactly the toolpath i need.
On the code is mentioned a file:
OpenTeachFile "FaceStockY.tap"

I can't find this FaceStockY.tap.. Can you please give some tips on this?

Many thanks

You need to open the Wizard menu and click pick wizard.

Find the FaceStockY in the list and click it.

The wizard will open, fill in the values as required.

Click PostCode, you will get a preview, if it looks good click Exit and it will then produce the code into run screen.

After using "Surfacing with tool down in Y" the file FaceStockY.tap will be written into your Mach3 / GCode folder.

Tweakie.

Thanks for yours comments. I got it.
I was already on Wizard, Pick Wizard menu but i didn't saw the scroll bar on the window and so didn't find the Surface Down in Y menu. I was close.
So i'll try to do my wizard version of that according to the type of machine i need.
