Problem. When ( Ref All Home)is pressed my Z starts first but crashes into my  Z++ Limit/Home switch.  In Diagnostic my inputs are lit upgreen with the exception of input 3. (Estop). All my limit /Home switches show active on the Diagnostic screening showing in yellow.  When the Limit/switches are activated then the lights go out, BUT, do not activate my RESET.

I have my Z axis limit/home wired to input 2 , X and Y are together and tied into input 1.

Estop in wired into input 3.  works properly.

If you are using the same switch for home and limit this can in some cases cause problems.  Disconnect the limits and just setup the home switches in the correct home input (X home, Y home, Z home) turn off all the limit inputs.  Test if this works as it should.  You may also need to up the debounce in General config to 200 or more depending on the quality of the home switches.

Once homing is working then you can add the limit switches one at a time checking the function each time.

If you have working home switches you can set up softlimits and forget the hard limits for an easy fix if you still have issues.

MY Z axis homes great, DRO is green, my X,Y axis does not home but crashes into the Home switch.  I have swopped  my Z input inputs with my X,Y input and made the changes in the pins and ports to accommodate the change.  I have disabled all my limit switches since Im using them as Home/limit due to the fact I have very few inputs on my BOB board. The diagnostic page shows xy home switch lights up when activated.  Not sure why the Y axis want to crash into the home switch instead of bouncing

Webster Dictionary would define the word,STUPID as Dan Cook.  I solved the problem with my REF All Home.  I did not have my slave (A) configured into my Y axis.  As soon and I activated my Slave A it homed itself.  I did this by tripping the Y axis as it was heading to the home position.  When I tripped the Home switch it stopped but the screw on the other side kept wanting to go. Thank you so much for your help.  You did get me thinking

I think one can get hung up on RefAllHome.  Apart from when I first set up my mill I think I have used it once "in anger", just to accommodate a very large workpiece to make sure I wouldn't be getting any overruns.  In actual day to day use I just reference the tool to a datum point on the workpiece.
