Starting out with Mach 4 and ESS
« on: August 25, 2024, 10:54:06 AM »
Setting up my second machine - first machine is a Sieg KX3CNC running Mach3 and ESS.

New machine is a Bridgeport BOSS Series 1 and I am trying to configure Mach4 with an ESS. I have the X motor almost working, trying to get the right counts per inch and the math almost works.. It is hot & humid down here on the border in South Texas and that doesn't help...

Big thing that has me really stumped - I am trying to setup the Home and Limit switches and instead of them showing up under the Inputs tab in the control confige screens they show up under outputs. Is there another checkbox hidden away somewhere that I have set by accident and now can't find?

The 2nd port can be set as input or output with a check box in the ESS config.
